Dr. Rishika Verma is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, School of Humanities and Social Sciences in Hemavati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Sringar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand, A Central University at present. She has been completed my higher education, B.A., M.A., Ph.d. and Post Doctoral fellowship from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She has done diploma in many languages like Sanskrit, Bengali, Russian and Tamil and taught Philosophy of Religion five years in Arts faculty and Mahila MahaVidhyalaya in Banaras Hindu University Varanasi. She has been also got opportunity to teach Yoga to the B.A. Students for two years in Arya Mahila P.G. College, Chetganj Varanasi. Her 23 Research papers has been published in National and international journals. She has qualified UGC Net in 3 subjects. She has presented 34 papers in national and international seminars and conferences. She also wrote a book named Yoga ke vibhinna Aayam.
डॉ. ऋषिका वर्मा वर्तमान में हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा गढ़वाल विश्वविद्यालय, श्रीनगर (गढ़वाल) उत्तराखंड, एक केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय में दर्शनशास्त्र विभाग, मानविकी और सामाजिक विज्ञान संकाय में सहायक प्रोफेसर के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। लेखिका ने अपनी उच्च शिक्षा, बी.ए., एम.ए., पीएच.डी. और पोस्ट डॉक्टरल फ़ेलोशिप बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय, वाराणसी से पूरी की है लेखिका ने संस्कृत, बंगाली, रूसी और तमिल जैसी कई भाषाओं में डिप्लोमा किया है और कला संकाय और महिला महाविद्यालय, बी.एच.यू. में पांच साल तक धर्म दर्शन पढ़ाया है। उन्हें आर्य महिला पी.जी. कॉलेज चेतगंज वाराणसी में बी.ए. के विद्यार्थियों को दो वर्ष तक योग सिखाने का अवसर भी मिला हैं। लेखिका के 23 शोध पत्र राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित हुए हो चुके हैं और 3 विषयों में यूजीसी नेट उत्तीर्ण किया हैं । लेखिका ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सेमिनारों और सम्मेलनों में 34 पेपर प्रस्तुत किए हैं । लेखिका ने ' योग के विभिन्न आयाम' नाम से एक किताब भी लिखी है।
My Philosophy
At this fundamental level, I believe that teaching is about nurturing of brain. From my believe and experience, teacher is one who introduce his student to the new world of knowledge and mentor them to towards their bright future ahead. Teaching is all about to share a experience which a teacher has gone through.
In my opinion teaching is an art. Teaching is a continuous leaning process that can’t be achieved in one day. Experience is the biggest teacher. We learn everything by our experience. A teacher should have sufficient knowledge about the subject which he or she is going to teach. The first requirement for the teaching is knowledge of the subject and second is the skill of delivering the lecture. If I have knowledge but I am unable to express it. It will not work in teaching. One should be expressible and able to make student understand.
I am very confident about my teaching. A teacher should be very professional at the time of delivering lecture. Teaching is not an easy task. For a teacher every day start with new challenges. First of all, a teacher should be a good Lerner because teaching is a learning process and a good teacher make a subject not only leaning material for the student but make subject easiest. A good teacher always makes effort to make their subject easy and interesting. As for as my teaching is concerned, I always believe in enjoyable learning and teaching process with student. Teaching is not about making you topic understand to the student, but it’s enslaved a lot of effort to make topic unforgettable.
I believe that my previous experience of teaching of the University level, degree college level, tuitions, and Research work during my PhD has added me a multi-dimensional.
I am looking forward to transfer my knowledge and spread the aroma of Research in the coming generation of philosophers.
